1. Agreement

By creating an account or using TapLap (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

TapLap lets you build and publish websites on subdomains we provide or on your own domain. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability.

3. Your account

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter this agreement.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to publish or transmit anything unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, or that violates others’ rights — including phishing, malware, spam, or content that is illegal in your or our jurisdiction. We may suspend or remove any site or account at our sole discretion, at any time, without notice or liability.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and serve that content solely to operate the Service. You are solely responsible for your content and for ensuring it is lawful and does not infringe any rights. Content you publish is public.

6. Paid plans

Paid features are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment providers until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. We do not warrant that the Service will be secure, available at any particular time, or free of data loss.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TapLap AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) EUR 20. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case the above applies to the fullest extent permitted.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TapLap and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause. On termination your sites may be taken offline and your data deleted.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
